Fishing

On the farm itself there is exclusive use of half a mile of fishing both banks. The water of the River Inny is very clean, clear and unpolluted. Although not large, it has enough variety to interest most enthusiasts.

Sea Trout runs enter on high water from mid-summer and autumn rains can provide quite large runs of salmon coming up from the Tamar. The salmon season finishes on 14th October. We have arranged for other stretches of the river to be available.

Temporary membership of local angling clubs can gain access to many more miles of good water, including exclusive lower Tamar beats. The salmon fishing season extends to the 14th December on the River Camel, where very large fish can be encountered on Association Water. Roadford and Siblyback Lakes are both well stocked and provide good sport for the still water specialist. Both are approximately fifteen minutes drive away.
